8:00pm - Ontario Provincial Election Night Open House (...) - we will flip through different channels, as you dictate!!!
Please don't forget to first VOTE!!! Then come here to party dee night away with really good friends. Democracy in action folks. Y'arrr!!! Vote for whatever party you like, BUT, please vote YES to the "Mixed Member Proportional" (M.M.P.) in the referendum question part of today's vote. It seems rare that here in Ontario that we have even a referendum question at all. The Citizens Assembly on Electoral Reform did a thorough and amazing job gathering input from Ontarians to come up with a new system of electing government. Already about 80 countries have adopted dee M.M.P. system of electing government proposed in dee referendum. Some shining examples of countries are New Zealand, Sweden & Germany. The system might seem confusing to some, but think of it this way: MORE GRASSROOTS PEOPLE WILL GET ELECTED TO PARLIAMENT, when under dee present system they would have no hope in hell. Imagine dee power that would give us. A true voice in parliament, in having our issues and stories told. Action must be taken if this member raises an issue in the parliament. The government then can't say they never heard about it eh!!! Imagine that said MP calling a press conference to raise an issue or story. The press would come out in droves. Now that's power folks. Give it back to dee people!!! Y'arrr!!! So folks, remember this above all else if this question seems a bit confusing. (((PLUS, have I steered you wrong? No.))) So please vote for M.M.P. in the referendum question. OH!!! Our version of "party" is always different from theirs. Good luck folks and see you here, where dee real party is at tonight.
